In The Dark

Here is another poem I wrote awhile back. I think it captures the essence of how many feel when they are sick, depressed, or dealing with a personal demon:

~*~*~*~*~*~*~
In The DarkĀ©

There are a lot of people passing me by,
the world is moving on.
Do they see me? Do they care?
It seems a hopeless battle.
As they fade into the fog,
the tears begin to flow.
No one knows my troubled heart,
nor my deepest fears.
Alone in the dark, I cry.
Can anyone hear me?

As ever I am open to comments and I look forward to bringing you another post tomorrow.

"Don't say anymore...
to me at all...
to me at ah-ah-ah-all! "

I like this. It's simple and says volumes. Thanks for sharing.
