It's Monday!

Okay so not many people like mondays, I used to be one of them. But I have come to understand that it is just another day we have been given, to do with, what we can. We can sit and complain about the weather, our job, or a myriad of other concerns, but to what end?

We can be thankful that we do not have tsunamis or earthqaukes everyday, that we have a job (or for some of us-that we don't need or want a job) and the fact that it is Monday should make no difference. Now, most of this I am typing is in an effort to boost my own moral, but it does make good sense.

In the news, cigarette lighters have been banned from the nation's airports. But never fear, The Transportation Security Administration says smokers will be only slightly inconvenienced as you can carry up to 4 books of matches.

Let me get this straight, butane lighters (which requires a person to hold the ignition button while applying the flame to the cigarette or whatever you are trying to burn) will not be allowed, BUT you can have up to 4 books of matches which can be tied together, lit with one match and thrown down to start a chain reaction as you flee. ???

I am all for travel safety but I never know what to think about the latest news from Homeland security.

Now for some good news, our son had a good Easter. Two baskets, eggs, and lots of candy! I didn't need to get a basket to have some candy for myself. My wife and I saved some of the sweets for ourselves. My favorite, Brach's "Chicks & Bunnies" which are exactly like the old fashioned marshmallow Circus Peanuts. Yummy!! We also went to see Robots on Saturday. Robin Williams is still one of the funniest voices in entertaiment!

No Cure song for this post, gotta run.
Have a great week!!
