Reporting from Houston

All is well.

As you all may know, Hurricane Rita is breathing down our necks. Happy to report that we seem to have dodged the proverbial bullet. Downgraded to a strong category 3 storm (instead of the massive 5 that was feared), we here in Houston are currently expecting lots of rain and only possible wind damage.

Whew!

Our prayers go out to the people along the Texas/Louisiana border who will be receiving the brunt of this storm.
