Dark Shadows

Who wants to watch soap operas? How about a really old one? Well if it is the 1966-1971 series titled "Dark Shadows" then sign me up!

Dark Shadows was different from other soaps due to its gothic overtones and melodramatic performances. The series captavated audiences airing during day time slots with atmospheric interiors well done considering the low budget, memorable story lines thanks to Art Wallace and an unusually adventurous music score.

Often called 'campy' by many reviewers, it still maintains a large following. Thanks to syndication over the years and all episodes being made available on VHS & DVD collections.
